underserved, under privileged, at-risk and inner-city youth. Deter
delinquency behavior through intervention strategies that includes
personal, social, and academic programs. Empower youth to become productive, independent,
and responsible adults.

Objectives
Our programs are
comprehensive in nature in order to build on their individual strengths. Additionally, the programs help to assist
them in becoming responsible adults. The
program areas are Drug Prevention and Education, HIV/AIDS and Sexually
Transmitted Diseases, Introduction to computers, Barbering, Carpet
Installation, Sign Language, and Arts & Crafts.

Drug Education & Crime Prevention
Provides the youth
with accurate information about Crime and how it affects the community.
Substance abuse and various resistance techniques. The curriculum includes crime
prevention, abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.

HIV/AIDS & Sexually Transmitted Diseases
HIV/AIDS and Sexually
Transmitted Diseases (HST) provides the youth with accurate information about
sexual diseases and how someone can become infected. The curriculum includes
abstinence and protection.

Introduction to Computers
Introduction to
Computers (IC) introduces the youth to the basic skills and foundations
required for today’s business environment.
Emphasis is placed on developing proficiency with touch keyboarding and
fundamental computer applications including word processing, spreadsheet,
database, presentation, and integrated software.

Re-Entry Program
Providing
comprehensive job skills, training, and services for those adults attempting to
smoothly transition back into the community.
